Consistently getting "rebadged GPFs" from Windows 2000 server (they call them Application Errors now...) when I resize the Attac window. To reproduce I simply open Attac, hit connect, and then resize my window. Most times it GPFs just after I let go of the mouse. Sometimes it takes a bit more effort and I have to resize a bunch of times...
It maybe something to do with the fact that the terminal window (the black bit) only takes up 2/3rds of the Attac window under win 2000.
This is an issue that I've been working with earth on, but so far he has yet to be able to reproduce it on his machine.
He has worked on a work-around for the next release. You will be able to "resize" the terminal window to a fix number of cols and rows, and then you should be able to resize the rest of the window to fit.
Win2k Pro crashes when I resize ATTAC (unreg) also

Same thing happens to me. I have a 2000pro box w/ not much on it. When I run ATTAC it fills the screen by default (gay). I can't stand that b/c I like to have a sense of what other things are "going on" on my machine. (If i was gonna run just one program, I'd run DOS.) If I resize the window before connecting, it usually works fine (which took me a while to notice). But if I connect first, it crashes about 80% of the time. It's a very repeatable error for me.
Not that I want others to be having trouble also, but I'm glad to see I'm not the only one w/ this problem. Lets me know the program is probably good on other OS's, and the bug will likely get discovered at some point.
Currently running Win2k Server SP1. Just tried playing around with resizing the window and stuff. No problems here.
Not sure why you need to resize the window to begin with (except maybe to get a larger vertical buffer).....I could be wrong, but doesn't the game only send out text in 80 char (give or take a few) lines?
I'm running SP1 as well. The reason you want to resize is so that you can have another program or window visible at the same time- e.g. put the message center window somewhere it can happily stay on top, but won't get in the way. Anyway they're fixing it for next time. Given it only breaks on some win2k machines, sounds like it depends what else u got installed...
