The strap problem is something that has been resolved and there is a new deployant buckle coming out next week. Please don't say that Mr. Mille was impervious to the problem. I know for a FACT that this is not true since every single time that I met him the same question arises. The problem has been "plaguing" him for a long time and in some cases still does. Making anything in Switzerland, whether it's hands or straps, takes a excruciatingly long time. We sometimes have no concept of this until you have the actual insight.

Believe me, Mr. Journe is not the only one that monitors this forum. As a mater of fact ALL people in the industry that I know (from presidents and importers to chiefs of marketing and clerks) are regulars here. Yes that even includes Mr. Mille and other important heads of the watch industry. Some of them might not do it directlly but his people monitor this forum closely. We sometimes have no notion of how important this forum is and the waluable service it does. To be honest, if I would to ever meet somebody in the industry that does not now thePuristS I would not spend any effort in talking to him/her. It would be a complete waist of my time. Not using Internet as a resource for improvement is only a sign of shortsightedness that is just not worth my time. (God, I sound like I own shares here!)

Regarding the RM005, to be honest I looked at the prices and they seem to be much higher than anything else out there. For a second I thought they where on sale for 15k!!! Percentage-wise I still think that they do better than anything else out there.
