stalling problem

Hello everyone, i have a 89 mustang Lx with a 92 motor stroked out to a 347 4 barrel carb. I have an electric fuel pump, when i first bought this car it stalled out on me. The guy i bought it from said he needed to replace the relay switches, turns out he ran a new gas line going to the carb. Well i just started it today and it stalled out on me again, cant seem to find out why its doing this. This is the second time i started this car since i had it, ive only had the car a week. I didnt start it before this because the battery was dead, yeah i know i got a raw deal!! Any clue as to what this might be??? Thanks to all.
