Changing to a later exhaust system.

Thanks Stangman666. What I'm interested in is duplicating the sound - - as modest as it might be - - of my 98 4.6. I really appreciate the sound of late model Mustangs with modified exhaust systems, but still want something more subdued - - more in the area of a stock 98.

That said, what about simply fitting later mufflers and whatever else you might recommend in place of my stock 95 stuff? I note your input that a later system can't be transplanted as a package, but what about going to a junk yard, finding a low mileage 4.6 Mustang, purchasing selected 4.6 system components from it and welding them into my 95's system?
