66 Mustang convertible motor problemsbyI have a 1966 Mustang convertible (6 cyl). The top motor started getting sluggish a few months ago. The other day the motor could hardly push the top up. I suspected the motor may need hydraulic fluid. I removed the rear seat, located the motor, but don't know where the fluid tank is located. I guess my question is this: Do I need more fluid? Is there a filter that needs to be cleaned periodically? Do I need to bleed the line? Is there another reason for my problem? I also need to get a new top. Any suggestions as to buying one premade or having one made by a local shop? Any help anyone can offer will be appreciated Goto Forum Home |
