To much mileage???????

by Raymond

I currently own a 99 Mustang GT 100,000miles on the motor. From u Mustang experts, should i keep buying more add-ons for the motor, replace the motor, or does the motor still have some life in it for me to play with?

Hood scoop

by

Hi Guys
I have a 1985 GT 5.0 Conv.. I am looking for a hood scoop. I want a fractory scoop that came on the cars. I have gone to the dealer and the car is too old for them to find the part. eBay has hood scoops in the 60s and 90s to 04. But not anything for the mid 80s. I want a OE scoop with the grill insert. I do not care what color it is. It can be painted. Can someone please help me find this hood scoop. Thanks Lionel

The best advice i can give u is pick up a Mustang Fast Ford or Mustang 5.0 magazine. Between those two magazines they helped me out alot for upgrades, parts and styling.

I have a 95 F-150. I pulled the motor and put in a 331 stroker kit and stuck it back in. Runs great and much more power.

Re: best 302

by Stangman666

'95 GT had 215 HP, not sure about TQ. That's the best one. It doesn't sound like much but Ford changes the way they calculated HP and TQ in 1992 and all the HP and TQ numbers dropped, but in reality they still put out the same power as the early 90's 5.0's with 240HP.

Don't just change the throttle body.

by Raymond

I don't know to much about v6's but i do know that if u change your throttle body make sure to change your mass airfow sensor with a cold air intake.

Go to a different dealership. I went to my local dealership and it took them 2 minutes to take them off and they didn't charge me for it.
