Jr "C" Game Sunday Night in Stayner

Well the last game of the regular season in the Jr "C" loop should be a dandy Sunday Night in Stayner. The Shelburne Vets are hosting their final regular season home game against the West Durham Patriots at 7pm at the Stayner Comm. Center. This is the makeup game from june 6th which was rescheduled due to floor conditions.
This game is a battle for the 3rd and 4th place positions. Currently the Vets hold down 3rd with an 8-7 record while the Pats sit at 7-7-1. The winner of this game will face the Center Wellington Warlords(11-5) in one semi final best of 5 match up while the loser will play a mini 2 of 3 series with the Innisfil Wolfpack with that winner playing the 1st place Caledon Bandits(12-3-1) in the other semi final. The Vets have taken 2 of 3 games against the Pats this year winning 12-11 at home while splitting their games in WD 9-5 loss and winning 9-7.
Stayner Hitmen Minor have 6 local products in the Vets line up this year. A BBQ will be going outside/fresbie toss/t-shirt giveaways/radio coverage will all be going on.....if you haven't checked out a Jr "C" game this year come see what it all about...great lacrosse!
