modified teeni two

as i am a quailified motor cycle mechanic i would only suggest trying a two stroke modification it if you have two stroke experience because of fouling of plugs excetera and fuel burn as 4 strokes are idealy arranged by weight and fuel for the modern tractor engine mounted engine so that the pilot sits behind the cg and moves his weight back as he is heavier a natural way to biuld weight and ballance on an aircraft compaired to forward mountimng the pilot ahead of the cg is not so natural, by often needed when two stroke motors are used because of its low weight ..the chain drive gets hot so needed at case around it to get oil up to it to cool although modern chains do have better swivel linkages and the cars axle stub is heavy but it all was possible at the time when we deared to experiment where as now every one is keyed up on manufactured items rather that scratchinhg up stuff your self and industry is so confined nothing can be modifired worse luck but it was light under the ultalight weight limit of 250 lbs and the motor was extended forward because of the cg which is ok but idealy the motor should only be the chord width away from the cg so the tail has maximum effective ness and it was printed in the australian pacific ultralight magazine but i dont know yet how to put pitchures up on the net else i would .eventualy when i concidered the low modified hours time was up due to low strenght alloy ect my brother put it up on his roof in kingston canberra .
