when i made the propellor for the yamaha 350cc two stroke motor on my modified teeni two with a reduction and the chain drive needed a tensioner to stop snatch which takes a bit and gives a bit of power but safer .to cut the revs back i made the blade width too wide and it would only rev to 4000 rpm so i have to wittle the width and thick ness back and watch to much change isnt a result to the pitch angle until it reved properly and i got over 150 lbs thruist about 100lbs is all you get from 250cc two strokes so i guess thats not bad .i used go kart wheels and because it was light i could use thicker alloy in parts to make up strenght where i used cheeper low grade alloy so it was all an experiment in the original sence as home built aircraft in the 60/'s and 70's was an adventure only the gods would try .,
