Now, the diction may be balmy, but the aerodynamics aren't that far off. Clark Y is a well known and documented airfoil, and keeping the Center of Gravity (cg) close to the quarter chord point is well accepted by designers.
Any hoo, c p, keep us informed. Especially if you come up with the pictures from that publication you mentioned. And you are correct about the lack of experimentation in experimental aircraft.
