National Day of Prayer

September 14 2001 at 7:46 AM

-
A reminder that today is declared a National Day of Prayer by the president. The grief, anger, shock and disbelief at this senseless demonic attack continue to overflow. May this catastrophic event which has touched millions serve to restore faith and trust in God resulting in repentance and healing of the land. God has promised - in 2 Chronicles 7:14 "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." Pray for those suffering unimaginable pain of their loss, focus on healing. Reminder also re: Red cross 800-HELP-NOW or 800-GIVE-LIFE or go to: http://www.Redcross.org for more info

grief and aww struck

I am in total shock by the events I have seen in the past week. I still can not wrap my mind around it. a plane flying into a skyscraper, then another. its something out of a movie I had thought. then the startling truth sunk in. this movie was true to life.

on behalf of myself and many others I want to express my condolences to the many men, women, children who have lost there loved ones in this tragedy. Justice most prevail. light will win over the darkness.

countless lives have been destroyed by the actions and thoughts of mad men. let our thoughts and actions be of sane individuals not of mad men, for if this happens they will have won the war

I agree, I too thought this was out of a movie, something Hollywood would put out. Then I saw it was a news cast and for real. Canadians join in a day of mourning and special services. I understand that special church services will continue in Canada this weekend to remember the victims and their families. Disbelief, shock at these atrocities.

Let's counter a religious attack with a day of prayer. Brillant.
