I don't claim to know what the answer is, I do think that this is only the beginning. Terrorism will continue long after the US is finished bombing the crap out of Afghanistan. A US reprisal will only stir up more hatred and spawn more attacks for generations. Bin Laden is only one of thousands. If the US does get it's man, some other wacko will take his place.

The way I look at it is that the Islamic Nations have declared a "Holy War" against Christian and Jewish Nations. Despite the politically correct claims that "not all Muslims support the terrorists", then why is it that all countries with an Islamic government is know to support and harbor terrorism against Jews and Christians?

Let's face it, Muslims will continue to attack and kill until they eliminate all non-Muslims from the Earth. I believe we have no choice but to participate and win this "Holy War" started by the Muslims.

I truely believe that the only way to protect ourselves at this point is to declare war on Islamic Nations, deport all practicing Muslims from our countries and basically kill all of them before they kill all of us.

It's a horrible thought, but they (the Muslims) started this "Holy War" and unfortunately, our survival depends on who wins this war. We (Christian and Jewish Nations) must wipe them off the face of the Earth before they do the same to us.

The fanatical lunatic Muslim/Arab terrorists are only beginning their war against the west who they blame all their self-made problems on. If you have some of these nut bars for neighbours, keep your eyes open and watch your back. Enough said.

I have to disagree with the posters so far. We are talking about a people who don't have access to a TV, radio, computer, or even a phone. Sure they hate America but only because they are brainwashed to. Slaughtering thousands of innocent civilians would prove we are the monster they were raised to believe we are.

I think a good start would be to remove the Taliban government. The best way to do that may be to supply the northern resistance with modern weapons. Afghan against Afghan = less Americans lost and less money spent...

Muslim terrorist extremists should not be allowed into the country in the first place. Since all or most of them are sympathetic to their causes it makes sense to deport them all. That may not sound fair, but for protection of society we cannot afford to have sleepers amoung us who mind their own business for maybe years while they either plan an attack or if not themselves, serve to harbour those who do. These people never assimilate into the main stream of society. Muslim countries need to be short listed and anyone from these countries denied entry. Keep in mind that these people bring with them their private home-front wars and continue to fund them from this country. This solution will not happen in liberal land so, we need to watch and monitor and hope we can apprehend the main players in time. On the surface most of these people appear to go about their life without causing any trouble. We must remember too that the majority are on the sidelines just like us but the lunatic fringe within their community are the problem and when push comes to shove they stick together and cover for each other.

Terrorists use the freedom they are accorded in the west to take advantage of the system and use it against us. We need to draw up a list of countries from which these people come and not accept anyone from target countries for whatever reason, then turn our attention on the ones that are already here and cut off their resources, pull them before the courts and deport them summarily.
