Kind of makes you think, doesn’t it?
This mind bender was to demonstrate how limited the human perspective is within the realm of our personal realities. The moral of it is that we should judge not, lest we be judged by the same measure.
Feel free to copy and distribute as a service to society.
These statements are designed to challenge our belief in moral standards and to bring into question our established beliefs.
There are major flaws, however, with this little "quiz".
Firstly, It provides only limited information about the leaders and issues in question, however detailed the background may seem.
Take for example the leadership issue: What did the leaders say about their policies? What were the core issues that they represented? What inspired these men? The pasts of the other three leaders may have been damning but what evidence was there available that led their people to believe that their pasts were no longer relevent? Hitler's campaign methods, such as having his brown shirts beat up on the opposition, would have been some clue into his "true" character.
As to the abortion question: again what do we know of the specifics of the case? What kind of woman was she? What quality of life did the other children whom she had had enjoy?
These questions prove nothing more than that in ignorance we may choose falsely. But, I don't believe that moral grounds for decisions will neccessarily fail us when ALL the facts are known.
The intent of these questions to circumvent moral absolutes is a failure because the questions asked do not speak to the full range of issues involved.
Demand more from your leaders and you'll get more.
The point is exactly as I specified - these questions are designed to challenge long held beliefs and moral values. That is the intent.
I feel that it is you who has missed the point.
Even if I am wrong about my assessment of the quiz, my examination of it was completely correct- that being that insufficient information was provided to make a truly informed decision. The best answer and in fact the answer that I gave to both questions was none of the above. I simply refused to make a judgement on important issues like these without all the facts.
Refuse to call me god? If you truly have something intelligent to say that just come out and say it. Insults like yours speak to a very weak cause. Perhaps It is myself that you dislike more than it is my message?
I do not dislike you. I do not even know you. How is it that you can judge others without looking beyond the surface of a person? Perhaps your anger and hate has a deeper source then what you suggest? It saddens me that this forum is nothing more that a vehicle for attacks on others. No wonder it is not growing; there is far too much negativity here.
The facts are very different here than your interpretation of them. I made no attacks. I did not lash out in hate. My attack centered on your arguments while your attack centered on me personally.
You said that you are amazed at my ability to know everything and that I am not God. Herein you are assuming that I feel that I am always right and that I pompously believe I am above everyone else. But, you provided no counter arguments to the points I made.
All you offered to the debate was an attack on my person. If you derived some other meaning from the questionaire then by all means challenge me on it. If you have nothing to offer but insults then I really don't care to hear it.
I leave you with this thought, "The reason people have such a difficult time finding truth is that truth is multidimensional. Those who do not realize this are destructive to themselves and others due to their need to JUDGE, attempting to empower themselves with SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS."
You judged me and therefore fulfilled your own statement. I hate no one.
