The abortion rate has increased for more than a decade and even planned parenthood is calling for a national strategy to deal with the issue. The ratio of abortion to live births has risen every year from 1985 to 1997 (the most recent year figures are available) Canada has no policies for reducing it and there is no strategy for unintended pregnancy in Canada. The federal government is doing nothing and the provinces are cutting back on services. Contrary to this planned parenthood outfit, we know that in fact - abortion is used as a birth control even given the risks of complications not to mention cost. The abortion rate has increased since 1988 when the Supreme Court of Canada struck down Canada's abortion law. ABORTION is yet another United Nations policy on the road to world government.
