I personally will be casting my vote for the Alliance party in the upcoming elections. I am hoping that Stockwell Day wins the leadership bid, as I believe he is one the most capable of dispelling the liberal lies. Although I wouldn't not vote for Preston Manning, or whoever else was chosen to lead the party. All the leadership hopefuls look pretty good.

The Alliance party offers Canadians a choice. This time around, it won't be east versus west, it will be liberal vs. true conservative. Conservative politics? We haven't had conservative politics since oh.... forever!

I have listened to some of the speeches that Stockwell Day made, and have liked what I've heard. He takes a stand on the issues, even when there not politically correct.

The Alliance Party, I think, borrows the best from both the conservative and reform camps, and is the only real choice in the upcoming elections. A liberal by any other name, remains a liberal.

Alliance

Frank Hall (policy adviser to Preston Manning) is running in a federal byelection in Sr. John's West to be held on May 15th. He is a native of St. John's and recently won the nomination. Hall says the Canadian Alliance is the vehicle to steer Newfoundland and the country to a government which will represent, listen to and understand the issues of the people.
