I love picking appart faked photos! This one was easy, they made the same mistake with the Oswald photo! The cabnet, woman, and baby make up the first pic, Elian and his father make up the second pic. Both pictures have a bright flash coming from the front, both have a large overhead light source, but the picture with Elian and his father had a third light source comming from the left casting a shadow on the right of objects. They tried to fake this thrid light source by adding a shadow to Elian's shirt but they missed a spot!
The picture below has had the contrast and brightness cranked but you can see it in the original if you look close.
A) The cabnet is real! If I had had a better quality picture to start with I might have been able to bring out intricate details, oh well it's real. That being said I do have broblems with the way they lay out their furniture, also the cabnet does not seem to cast a shadow on the curtains? The woman appears to be standing up while the father appears to be sitting on something?
C) Notice the shadow on Elian's shirt from the baby's arm. We see the same kind of shadow on the drapes behind Elian and his father.(shadows created by the third light source) The shadow on Elian's shirt is a fake created to match the two pictures. The arrow shows the direction of that third light source.
B) If the baby's arm is casting a shadow on Elian's shirt and Elian and his father are casting shadows on the dapes behind them, then why is the womans shoulder not casting a shadow on the baby? Remember the third light source is from the left causing shadows to appear behind and to the right. The womans shoulder sticks out enough to cast a large shadow over the baby. That is why the picture of the woman and the baby is a seperate picture and the shadow on Elian's shirt is a fake.
If the woman is sitting down then the cabnet would be unusually short, and where would her legs be? On the other hand if they were all standing up then Elian's father would be holding Elian up with one arm pressed against Elian's side.(uncomfortable for both of them) Also he is leaning too far back. It seems to Me Elian is sitting on his father's knee and his fathers left arm is resting on his other knee.
