I'm thinking of making a new graphic that would act like a webring. It would link to the forum, chat room, and community page. The advantage to this is that people couldn't bury the link on some masive links page, it would be visible and eye catching. Many site owners are looking for rings to join, rather than e-mailing webmasters and inviting them, they would be coming to us. A "Join" page would be added to the community page for people to submit their site. Let Me know what you think of this, would you be willing to ad it to your site? We would also have to come up with a name for our community, something that decribes what were all about. Try to work freedom into it somewhere. Any ideas?
Sounds promising, if you come up with a graphic, I'll put it up. So far I have not come up with a better name for the community than just 'The Community'. If we Are talking about an image map link, The freedom forum section of the image will pretty well describe what we stand for. And I think 'the community' leaves people wondering just enough that they may check it out.
You may also want to integrate the join link into the image.
