A warning to Americans

May 17 2000 at 9:27 PM

-
On 9 May 2000 Senator Feinstein of California introduced Senate Bill 2525. If this bill is passed, all future purchasers of handguns or rifles with detachable magazines would be required to have a license complete with photo and thumb print. This license will also have to be renewed every five years.

Another section of this bill requires that all private transfers of these firearms be done through a licensed dealer.

there are also further issues dealing with gun owner liability. Folks, this is the step over the edge in my opinion.

To see the entire text of the bill, you can search it at the Thomas.loc.gov site or reach it through my legislation page at http://www.angelfire.com/ak2/papsretreat/pending.html

This is the spookiest one I have seen yet.

Live free or die, Pap

Yikes!

Here we will have to have a license to buy bullets soon! We are already required to register all guns. Basically you will be reported every time you buy bullets with the license, if you buy bullets you don't have a registered gun for the jack boots will be kicking down your door. Or if you buy bullets without a hunting license ect. You see they don't really have to bann guns, all they have to do is stop you from buying ammo. Sure people stalk up on bullets, but many brands are made so that the powder deteriorates over time. They ban bullets, wait a few years then move in, your guns will be wall ornaments by then. Fight the licensing of anything gun related, the plan is that once licenses are in place they can raise the price. In Canada you have to take a course to get an FAC.(license to own a gun) Then when you buy a gun you will have to register it, another fee. Of course your hunting license will cost a bit and oh ya, another course. You have to submit to in depth background checks which are an invasion of privacy. They go as far as to call up any ex-girlfriends! How many ex-girlfriends have nice things to say? Many people after spending the money and taking the courses are turned down for gun ownership. The plan is to make gun ownership expensive and inconveinent.

Snitch lines

May 19 2000, 4:11 AM

Your brainwashed niebors become government spies as Big Bother begins setting up "snitch lines", numbers people can call to anonymously turn you in.(toll free of course) Remember in Canada if you own a registered gun, the police can search your home at any time without a warrant. I hear they're thinking of rewarding the snitchers, that'll get them peeking in windows. What a world.

Gun Control=People Control

May 19 2000, 8:28 PM

The USA is the last country to have gun ownership without the requirement to register your gun. That is likely coming to an abrupt end as we move toward UN control and world government. You would never have thought this could happen in the good old U.S. of A, but it is and we are catching up fast with the rest of the disarmed world. Canada is just slightly ahead of the U.S. on gun control. Australia went down the same path a few years before Canada. Can there be any doubt the UN agenda is being speeded up in the US>?????? Let's hear from y'all on this.

Why aren't guns evil when the gov't uses them?

May 18 2000, 7:36 PM

Why are governments around the world so crazed about gun control? Why the sudden interest now on a militant crack down on gun ownership? Could it be that they are preparing us for something? Me thinks yes.

When you consider that police in Canada had their side arms upgraded from 38 revolvers to gloc 9mm handguns, in order to "level the playing field" with criminals and that at the same time the government brings in some of the most restrictive gun control legislation in history, (which should according to them, prevent criminal ownership of firearms in the first place), then shouldn't we ask: well then, why spend millions on glocs?
I mean, isn't that just a tremendous waste of money?

Evolution of the police state: Police in Canada started out with a revolver and a billy stick, which then progressed to a revolver and a baton, which then progressed to a gloc 9mm and a baton, which then progressed to a gloc 9mm, a baton, and pepper spray.

things that make you go hmmm.

The progression

The next step after the Glock, baton and pepper spray is what our federal thugs already have. That is-- A Glock, An H and K MP5, and concussion Grenades. How long will it be before the average street cop is carrying this kind of fire power? Or, do you suspect they will just skip this one and move right to the soldier on every corner armed with an M-16?

progression/ escalate

May 22 2000, 6:35 PM

Concussion grenades, tear gas pepper spray. Well they will need a wagon to pull it all soon so just escalate to the M-16 is more likely.

They'll probably just skip to the good stuff

May 23 2000, 11:19 AM

Although... an h and k mp5 would be nice. Where could I get one of those do you think... uh for a friend of course...err... he's one of those really distant sort of friends. you know. uh maybe we should just forget the whole thing... what i meant to say was that guns are bad, and are the root of all that is evil in the world. Sorry comrade, I had a brief moment of independent thought. It won't happen again.

I would say that we are probably a lot closer to a police state than a lot of people realize. Just take a look at what the U.N. does when it intervenes in the internal affairs of other nations,(something not provided for in the U.N.s original mandate)- it confiscates all privately held arms. Or look at what happens when the globalists come to town to discuss the sell-out of our respective nations-they establish curfews, limit access, and tear gas anyone who gets in their way.

Mao Tse Tung, who butchered millions of (unarmed) political dissidents, had this to say, "All power is born out of the barrel of a gun.". I bet a lot of those political dissidents are wishing they had listened more closely eh?
