Reality

-
Many thanks to those who help make up this forum, which I have just now found.
Being a 65 year old US citizen by birth, I have spent much of the past 30 years learning what has happened to us as a nation. (Not good, as you know)
I have traveled Canada from North to South (Alaska border to Seattle) and East to West (Nova Scotia to Vancouver Island) For those US citizens who have never traveled Canada, they have never seen endless beauty in North America unless they have traveled Alaska. ( I suspect things have changed since most of my travels were pre-1968)
The situation I see, that now engulfs both nations, was created in 1945 as the UN was born with little fanfare. Little did any of us then know, what was in store for us today.
We are now engulfed by govts that hate us for knowing what govts once were and desiring them to return to saner days.
Constitutions are now treated as toilet paper by govts around the globe as they seek to strangle the remaining rays of freedom among us.
Sadly, we have been used as armies of tyranny against the smaller nations of the globe, until our turn draws close for like action.
The divisionist tactics of socialist schools have given us a generation of youth that see it to be their duty to turn in "law breakers" of any sort. (constitutionaly minded freedom lovers) It matters not to them that they may be family members as the UN agenda has wrought havoc among families. With abortion being the law of the land, families as we once knew them, are fast disappearing.
The only hopes that the 2 North American nations have, is for communications such as this forum, to allow us to recognize friend from foe and unite for what may come.

People are blind to reality

May 20 2000, 2:20 PM

I think the way to do the most dammage is to inform the people. If the people knew what their governments were up to they would rise up and overthrow them in a day. The problem is that it's all being done behind closed doors. And people don't really want to know, because once you know you can't just sit by and let it happen. I think most people have some idea but would rather believe the lies. The good people who make up this forum are different, they search for the truth and do their best to spread it. An oppressive government's greatest fear is that the people may wake up.

The global invisible government

May 20 2000, 5:27 PM

Petition congress to get the US out of the united nations, to cease appropriations and support for UN military operations and for any form of global government. Canadians,- support your Alliance party to kick the liberals out and have the House of commons support measures to have Canada drop out of the united nations as well. At UN conferences in Rio de Janeiro, Cairo, Copenhagen Rome and on and on we should be very concerned about these behind closed doors subversive agendas including the treaties these get togethers promote, such as the convention on the rights of the child, the Biodiversity Treaty, Global Warming Treaty and new International Criminal Court Treaty. The UN plans to submerge member nations under the political, economic and military rule of a global dictatorship United Nations. Is this what we fought two world wars for, to become slaves?

Wrt:"Petition congress to get the US out of the united nations, to cease appropriations and support for UN military operations and for any form of global government."

I would ask how exactly do you propose to "petition" congress? It seems to me, we have done that by the elections of the past few years where we elected those who promised change. The end result was we got lied to. How will a petition produce what politicans promises fail to deliver?
(virtually impossible to produce and deliver,,,,remember Perot's $$$$ spent doing the same thing to get on the ballots)
The govt has no fear of the ballot box. They only fear the box which the 2nd amend. protects.

Lies of the global invisibles

May 21 2000, 5:44 AM

I think you have a good point. Congress had the chance to impeach this president and the Democrates voted as a block against while 10 Republicans jumped ship to ensure it did'nt haPPEN. Clinton is not only a national disgrace but an international disgrace. The ballot box means nothing,- just a means to an end. As you know they would love to just strike down the 2nd amend. but instead have decided to circumnavigate around it. The managed media acts as the official mouth organ for government. Staged events like the million mom march in DC recently indicate media support for this initiative. Pictures of the gathering had cut and paste add ons to make the crowd look bigger. The government is a masquerade for global power masters. They should be charged with treason. Hillery has an open road to the senate now as the gov. was bought off and said he was leaving the race for health reasons. What convenient timing. Another big closed door meeting in September for the shadow government of global puppet masters.

WRT:"Congress had the chance to impeach this president and the Democrates voted as a block against while 10 Republicans jumped ship to ensure it didn't happen."

Political parties are part of the scam to keep us off balance as we think we are supporting an opposing team, while in reality they are cut from the same cloth. The divisionist tactics of the NWO have enjoyed watching us vote for either side while they control both.

"Clinton is not only a national disgrace but an international disgrace. The ballot box means nothing,- just a means to an end."

Evidence continues to surface at a fast pace which causes me to doubt that we have seen an honest election in many years. The fraud seems rampant where the "voting machines" and computers are used to tally votes. The media prattling about who is "ahead" in an election scheduled for months in advance does little to convince me of honesty in elections.

honest elections -aware?

May 22 2000, 6:42 PM

Yes, there is little of the word honest in elections today. It is just like animal farm where the government blends with the so called opposition to the point that they cannot be told apart. It really matters little which party the puppets come from. What we don't see is the puppet masters but they do own both sides.

Election honesty demise

May 23 2000, 7:02 AM

About 50 years ago, Chicago was known as the vote fraud capitol of the nation. Since that time, the practice has entered the world of electronics with its many facets of deceit, and spread across the nation. When we lost the paper ballots which were counted ON SITE at the polling places with results then posted on the door, (before the poll workers went home) we lost any hopes for proving the honesty of the count.

A friend has been involved in the courts trying to prove open fraud in the voting process of a Nevada county. With literally volumes of proof for his side, the courts began a lengthy (and successful) process to sweep it under the rug and prevent truth from surfacing.

During his research on the subject, he found MANY others across the land, including congressmen, uncovering like illegal actions in numerous states.

Items such as "testing" voting machines the day after the election, and finding that a large percentage of votes were recorded for the wrong candidate. No surprise that the candidate with the unearned votes won the election.

We are all familiar with the illegal Gerrymandering of the boundaries of the voting district, coupled with the fradulent voting by illegals, which cost Bob Dornan his re-election.

I often wonder what our elected body politic might resemble if all fraud were removed from the process.

Pretty Scary Stuff

May 23 2000, 11:38 AM

The media bias towards the left of the political spectrum almost assures them of victory. Take a look at the incredible support Hillary Clinton received for her Senate appointment for example. I knew way ahead of time the position would be hers. There was no question. She is a ranking member of the elite.

And now Americans prepare themselves for even more sham elections. Oh sure they can choose democrat or republican, but do either of the presidential candidates really hold loyalty to America? Or are they pledged to a much more sinister cause?

Statements made by Gore mirror those of the globalist elite and he has been in attendance at their conferences. Bush Jr.'s father, on the other hand, made some rather startling statements about global government, which I think make Jr. a bad choice as well.

We must bring issues of national sovereignty to the forefront. Making them a priority of the people and demanding that our voices be heard. If this happens, we may, some time in the future, become part of the process again. Until then, politicians are free to pursue their globalist agendas unchecked.

Remember, that Russians were always given the right to vote. Its just they were limited to choosing communist a or communist b. It becomes increasingly clear that we face a very similar situation.

The Sharpened Pen

RIGHT ON!

A very perspicacious observation, Pen. The same choice is no choice at all!  And it is vital to raise the issue of National Sovereignty.

I believe that is is also vital to raise public consciousness on the issue of how unfairly 3rd Parties are treated.  3rd Parties are where the idealogical action is and on Debates, Ballot Access, Media Coverage - you name it - 3rd Parties are treated like 3rd class citizens.

Thanks... I think

June 2 2000, 1:10 PM

I feel as you, that third parties have been left out of the process. I've only recently found myself... ie. discovered that I too am what could be considered a Libertarian ,but I don't see candidates even pretending to represent my viewpoints on most issues.

As long as big money and big broadcasters decide what the agenda will be, the people will have no real choice. So let's start setting the agenda for ourselves, by telling them we care about more than the rhetoric of jobs, jobs, jobs. That we care about national sovereignty and the rights of the individual too.

Imagine if every candidate was forced to state publicly, their position on global government for example. How far would such b.s. fly then? Its only because issues like this go ignored that we have reason for concern.

And that tired argument that I would be "wasting my vote" by voting for a third party candidate has got to be the most pitiful excuse for an excuse that I've ever heard. It reminds me of the Simpsons episode where bush and clinton were abducted by aliens. The people eventually caught on that the replacements were a little off and one man proclaimed that he would not vote for either of them. To which the alien responded, "Go ahead. waste your vote." So, to make a short story even shorter, the aliens won the election and enslaved mankind just as they said they would.

I would turn the argument around and ask, "if you're voting for a party, whose policies you do not believe in, then aren't you 'wasting' your vote?"

And aren't we talking about precisely that? If the mainline parties support globalism to varying degrees, and we choose to vote for them because one candidate is the lesser of two evils, what have we really accomplished?

If we paid no attention to polls and instead voted with the winning combination of our hearts and our heads, we'd come up the winners for a change.

It's worth a shot.

Yours in Truth,

The Sharpened Pen
