In Canada by December 2000 all gun owners must have a licence to even own a gun. This makes collection easy. I sent mine to the farm where they remain or by now may be sold (for cash) I understand there is a lot of pending gun control bills around in the U.S. both at senate and house levels. Is anyone aware of any recent restrictive bills to have passed into law?

Did you hear about the criminal who bought his gun licence?

You won't either, but it is something to see people standing around a table in a mall like I did in Peterborough recently to fill out a slip and pay a fee because the government says "YOU must have a licence to even own a gun or watch out after December 31, you will face criminal charges. The criminal doing robbery, killings etc, he does'nt care. Now honest folk can be turned into criminals because they did'nt buy a licence to own the gun they have had for the past 30 years.

Well my friend, remember the Canadian Alliance Party come next election. The Liberals only provide more of the same and if they get another 5 yr term, no one save the army or police will be allowed to have any kind of a gun, long rifle or not.
