Canon law may be divided into various branches, according to the points of view from which it is considered:
If we consider its sources, it comprises Divine law, including natural law, based on the nature of things and on the constitution given by Jesus Christ to His Church; and human or positive law, formulated by the legislator, in conformity with the Divine law.
If we consider the form in which it is found, we have the written law (jus scriptum) comprising the laws promulgated by the competent authorities, and the unwritten law (jus non scripture), or even customary law, resulting from practice and custom; the latter however became less important as the written law developed.
If we consider the subject matter of the law, we have the public law (jus publicum) and private law (jus privatum). Public law is the law of the Church as a perfect society, and even as a perfect society such as it has been established by its Divine founder: private law would therefore embrace all the regulations of the ecclesiastical authorities concerning the internal organization of that society, the functions of its ministers, the rights and duties of its members. Thus understood, the public ecclesiastical law would be derived almost exclusively from Divine and natural law.
You have to understand your rights if you're going to claim them. Even Christains have to see this. Your beliefs won't change anything without the rule of law on your side.
Are all bible thumpers as illiterate as Mike? Sticking your face into a bible isn't going to make things better...
Our constitution was designed for White Christian America by White Christians and is not going to be adequate for or accepted by non-whites in the future. Today most Blacks and other non-whites blame White's for everything that has gone wrong in their communities. They expect White taxpayers to financially fix their problems for them; White's are tired of taking the blame and or no longer willing or able to support non-white communities. This of course will breed even more hatred against Whites.
Yes, we need to make our constitution work. It needs to work for ALL Americans.
Sure you have a right (guaranteed, not granted, by the 1st Amendment) to express your views. We also have the same right to refute them. Constitutional Rights in the United States are applied to citizens, and citizenship is not based on color.
You will find that many of the members of this forum are christian, so your not making any friends here. If you're just here to disrupt things why don't you leave. I could suggest a few other forums that would be more to your liking. By spamming us with messages that seem to say nothing, you push other peoples thoughts and feelings off the page. You're like a loud mouth jerk who tries to drown out other people and control the discussion.
You keep mentioning various laws and how you can claim rights under them. What is the hierarchy of these various laws? Isn't Federal law like the top most, and then State law next, on down, etc.?
Seems to me the law of nature and law of physics don't always get along and can be costly. Just ask my neighbor about the repair costs to his car after striking a deer. Law of nature governed that deer's behaiour and law of physics proved that a four wheeled moving mass of metal moving at a lawful rate of speed is stronger than hide and bones.
None the less it is obvious that unless these laws recognize each other then they are good only in a laboratory type setting.
The laws you say we must claim our rights under must be recognized by the Federal and State governments or else they are no good to us when we enter into another's domain. For instance my son is't allowed to say a prayer in school because the law that governs his behaviour there says so. State law where I live says I can carry a concealed weapon, but if I cross the state line I may, or may not, be law-abiding at that time when carrying.
I can remove all the pollution prevention and safety devices from a vehicle, not have insurance nor pay registration and inspection, and drive it all day long - as long as I keep it on private property. As soon as I venture forth in the 'real world' with it I am in violation of many laws.
We want to be able to exercise our rights without restriction, in the 'real world'. I believe the only way to do this is to get our Federal and State governments to recognize these rights and to stop encroaching on them with laws that restrict or rescind these rights. We shouldn't have to find loopholes and create special states and societies to have laws that bestow rights. A right is there whether one chooses to exercise it or not. It doesn't need to be claimed.
Your positions are untenable. You ramble on about constitutional rights by a citizen having to be claimed, you put down Christians as Bible thumpers. You try to pass yourself off as some kind of an authority on law. It is blatantly clear to everyone here that you know nothing about the law or constitution (only what you read then cut and paste here) so stop the charade now. You show contempt for God and a cloaked racist outlook. I believe in free speech but when the real you peeks out in one line comments from behind your cut and paste mode then I see arrogance, hostility and contempt. This tells me you are hurting and lashing out at everyone. I also suggest from the sometimes change of tone in these short disjointed flashes that we are dealing with more than one personality here. You may not be completely unmasked but you are transparent.
