APOLOGY TO THE PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF CHINA

APOLOGY TO THE PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF CHINA

It is with deep regret, hesitation, and contrition that I, The President of the United States of America, offer apology to the Chinese nation and its peoples. I apologize for the heinous act performed by our large, sluggish, propeller driven, airplane when it got in the way of your highly maneuverable, supersonic, technologically superior, jet aircraft. Furthermore, I sincerely regret the fact that by flying in international airspace, we afforded your "highly competent" pilot the opportunity to fly his aircraft into our own, causing him to spiral to his death into the ocean. We regret the choice made by said pilot when he used deficient judgment in electing to attempt aerial intimidation upon our slower moving, unarmed, surveillance vehicle. This situation brings to mind a similar episode when I was in grade school and my face got in the way of the school yard bully's fist. He broke a bone in his hand and I felt as compelled to apologize for that incident as I do for this one. Let me summarize by stating that it is our sincere hope that you accept this "heart felt" and "sincere" apology for the actions committed by your pilot. We are sorry that we got in the way. We are sorry that we were forced to leave international airspace and land in Chinese territory. We are sorry that you were forced to provide food and housing for our military personnel.

Most of all, we are sorry that you have, in your possession, some of our most
technologically advanced surveillance equipment on the planet. I hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive us. I am thankful you have been compelled to release our men and our property.
Because I really don't want to have to apologize again when we have to kick your ass.

Sincerely,

George W. Bush President of the United States

Apology to China

Well thought out. To believe for a moment the Chinese position on this one was ludicrous at best right from the start given you had a jet vs a prop plane involved in the incident. China is a rogue nation and who cannot believe that next time they start buzzing aircraft in international airspace, it could well be a passenger aircraft on a charter flight.

apology for China

Yes indeed, deep regret that the American propeller driven plane could not only outpace your supersonic jet, but knock it out of the sky also. Maybe the 5 week training course you have your pilots on should be extended. I know with a population of over 1.3 billion you likely feel everyone is expendable but not everyone in the civilized world thinks like China does. Were those nasty Americans sneaking around in that big cumbersome plane interrupting your military buildup on your south coast facing Taiwan? Do you think that your intentions toward Taiwan are a secret?Did you believe your interrogation of the planes crew would intimidate anyone? Just because you have 1.3 billion slave citizens and threaten your neighbours, do you think the rest of the world should cave in to your demands? Anyway, sorry your pilot was too intellectually challenged (from all your indoctrination sessions) to know when to back off.

letter to China

I hope you are enjoying the technologically advanced surveillance equipment your pilot forced to land on Chinese soil by flying into the American plane to cause the crash. It was nice of you to fire upon an unarmed plane as they were going down as a direct result of your not so masked intentions. It was easy to get this information from chairman Clinton in the past. This is having to work a little harder for it now. Maybe a warning should go out to all commercial aircraft flying in international airspace anywhere close to your rogue country. Maybe we should all learn from your statement "that power is born out of the barrel of a gun", maybe force is all you people understand.

no apology to China

Nothing to apologize for, it was the Chinese commie aggressors fault entirely. End of sentence. Stop buying Chinese shoddy goods made by child labour. If everyone would stop buying their garbage products we would soon see them disappear from the store shelves. Credit to Zeller's stores for clearing out a whole section of Chinese junk clocks after complaints and returns of the junk.
