I have a prediction, mark my words and see how close I get......
In a few months, Robert Blake will be on the golf course with O.J., teaming up to search for the real killers. Patsy Ramsey will discover a ransom note from Bonny Blakely's killer, written on Ramsey's stationary in her own handwitting. In the end, it will be determined that Blake's wife was killed by a stray bullet fired by rapper Sean Puffy Combs.
The husband is still a suspect, so you think there is a conspiracy theory herem maybe. What of the other case? Which parent or relative killed the little girl?
From the first details I heard about the Jon Bene' Ramsey Murder, I developed a theory and all evidence which has surfaced since further supports that theory.
I believe the brother killed her and the parents took steps to cover up the fact he did it so not to lose both children. He are some facts which support this theory:
The body was found in the basement where the Christmas presents were hidden. This would be considered a hiding place from a child's perspective.
There was a great deal of "overkill", numerous types of injuries. An adult would have no problem killing a small child with a single methond, however, another child would most likely try several different methods, being unsure of himself.
The ransom note was written from paper inside the house, with quotes from a book the mother had been reading. The mother did this to help cover up her son's action so as to blame it on a stranger.
I believe the Boulder Police also know the brother did it, but just can't prove it nor are sure how to handle it. They have never seriously pursued arresting the parents, nor do they seem to be aggresively searching out an intruder. I'm sure the police have the same theory.
When the 911 call was made, the brother's voice can be heard in the background, yet during the first interview with the police, the Ramsey's claimed that the brother was still asleep in bed when the call was made.
There are more facts which back this up, I could go on and on.
The intruder theory was discounted from the start. There were no signs of forced entry to the house. By some accounts, the father found the body and immediately moved it. The scene was disturbed and how soon did the 911 call go in? It would seem likely that the son was jealous of the little girl due to her attention in the media and on stage. This should have been an open and closed case as the family members present were the chief and only suspects. The fact that this case remains open suggests collusion. This family had money. They moved to another state and the house has been torn down, why?
This couple were not too cooperative with investigators from the start. I agree that it would seem to point to the son. All the supermarket tabloids have claimed the mother did it, then next week the father, then a cousin who stayed overnight and was allowed to leave before police arrived. The parents have placed a deflected shield around themselves. They know who is responsible for this crime and they are not talking. They moved away from the area and now live in another state. The big mystery here is not so much, who did it but why no charges have resulted. How complete was the investigation, how much obstruction did the police face, how soon was the crime scene released, was it apparent that the scene had been interfered with, altered, evidence tampered with? What were the actions of the first officer on the scene? The investigation of a major crime scene is a team effort which involves communications, witnesses/suspects, investigative units, forensic sciences and the first officer. Was that scene protected, were suspects isolated, was physical evidence preserved. Was conversation recorded on arrival. Since a police officer may not pronounce death except in cases of transection, decapitation or decomposition, was the body moved (by ambulance personnel) if so, were notes made of their actions on the scene, was the position of the body marked and a sketch made in the officers memo book, the body should have been accompanied to hospital and on to morgue to preserve continuity of the body and effects, - was this done or was the body left on scene and if so were appropriate notes made/ times etc. Did the officer keep in mind the fragile state of physical evidence, did he note clothing condition, any marks of violence, what about demeanor of the parents. Witnesses/suspects should not talk to each other as exchange of information may confuse/ The scene is so important, was a perimeter established keeping in mind the scene could be larger. What were times, lighting conditions, locks, entrances, persons on the scene, attention to the smallest details. Were homicide/suspicious death investigation guidelines followed.?
