CITIZEN ACTION ALERT!

There are significant problems with H.R. 1 and S. 1 -- the education bill known as "No Child Left Behind," -- to the point that Traditional Values Coalition and most other conservative groups are opposed to the bills.

After the House of Representatives finished work on H.R. 1, the bill looked nothing like the original education reform proposal put forth by President Bush. The numerous problems with H.R. 1 include the lack of academic flexibility for local schools and educational choice, as well as maintaining the status quo while increasing federal spending by 20 percent. We anticipate having similar problems with S. 1, once the Senate completes action.

In addition, we are deeply troubled by the inclusion of H.R. 1 and S. 1 of thought/hate crimes language, as well as the fact that there is no real protection against religious bigotry funded in this legislation.

Currently, under the guise of "hate crime prevention" and "promoting tolerance," federal education dollars have provided a major funding stream to undermine and denigrate the religious beliefs of Christian parents and children. These taxpayer dollars have produced unbalanced, bigoted and offensive anti-Christian materials. The objectionable materials include:

The creation of middle school curriculum that:

Links Baptists and Pentecostals with White Supremacists in the chapter under "Hate Crime Perpetrators: Why They Do It"

Takes thought/hate crimes a step further to teach words such as: Hate incident -- which is defined as "harmful words or actions motivated by prejudice." Institutionalized prejudice -- "prejudice that is widely accepted throughout a society including in schools, workplaces, government, and religious organizations.

Directly assaults Bible-believing Christians with the statement that "prejudice and contempt cloaked in the pretense of religious or political conviction are no different."

Has children role-play being a lesbian.

Other documents or curriculum funded include:

Teaching children to turn in their parents if they are "intolerant" or prejudiced.

Defining culture to specifically exclude religion from a list that does include sexual orientation.

Endorsing the view that it is age appropriate to teach kindergarteners about sex-change operations.

Under H.R. 1 and S. 1., local educational agencies will continue to use funds to carry out the curriculum mentioned above and more--all the while, excluding people of faith from its protections!

TAKE ACTION!!!!

It is important to call:

Your two U.S. Senators and urge them to oppose S. 1 because of the inclusion of hate crime language and the funding of anti-Christian bigotry. All Members of Congress can be reached by dialing the Capitol Switchboard at: 202-224-3121.

The White House and ask the President to veto the education bill, "No Child Left Behind" if it includes hate crime language and offers no real protection against anti-Christian bigotry. Taxpayer dollars should not go to fund anti-Christian bigotry. The White House can be reached by dialing 202-456-1414.

We shall sodomize your sons,
emblems of your feeble masculinity,
of your shallow dreams and vulgar lives.
We shall seduce him in your schools,
in your dormitories, in your gymnasiums,
in your locker rooms, sports arenas,
seminiaries, truck stops, male clubs,
and in your Houses of Congress.
Wherever men are with men together,
your sons shall become our minions
and do our bidding.

They will be re-cast in OUR image.
They will come to crave and adore us.
All laws banning homosexuality will be revoked.
If you dare cry "faggot", "fairy", or "queer" at us,
we will stab you in your cowardly hearts.
All churches who condemn us will be closed.
Our only gods are handsome young men.
We shall be victorious because we are
fueled with the ferocious
bitterness of the oppressed.
We too, are capable of firing guns
and manning the barricades
of ultimate revolution.

Michael Swift, Gay Community News, 2/15/87
This is what the queer agenda is really about. Media propaganda pass off homosexuality as just another lifestyle choice. It is a dangerous perversion. As you can see by the item above they are suffering from a mental illness and demand a gag order be put on the rest of society making the rest of us politically incorrect to speak out against them yet they use harassment, intimidation and violence to push their agenda.

Homosexuality is a progressive addiction a perversion. Their openly obscene behavior in these pride queer parades proves they are suffering from a mental illness. Although they make up from 1 to 2 percent of the population they have managed to permeate government and top the United Nations agenda driven policy lines. Another reason any nation wishing to be free should dump the UN. We see more and more of these so called "same sex marriages" and they wish to lower the age of consent and gain more access to children through homosexual multicultural curriculums in the schools. This sick segment of society invade our public parks, public Libraries, movie houses, public restrooms to practice their perversion. Don't let young children go to any of these area's alone. This issue never goes away does it?

Children are not safe on the streets or in public rest rooms alone. Is there a queer lurking in your neighbourhood? They all come together for much publicized, disgusting exhibitions and parades. Guard your children and demand your rights! These people are sick and dangerous. Bring back the 60's! Queers would'nt flaunt their sickness openly then or be given keys to the city or local schools either.

Have you forgotten? We are the sixties, and the fifties, and also the forties. So why have we let the seventies, eighties, and nineties, go so wrong? Is it because we don't care? What is it that would keep us from wanting to preserve the freedom for our children? We will fight over an election, but won't fight to save our country. We raise hell if a neighbors child is cruel to our children, and at the same time we let government schools abuse them and force them to play the part of a Gay and say nothing. We get fighting mad if someone steals our wallet, and are silent as the government steals all that we own. We complain about our government, without understanding that we are supposed to be the government. So, if we don't want to get involved then we have no right to complain, because we are the problem, and only we have the solution.

You are right. Where did we go wrong? Maybe we just did'nt get involved or support the one's who did. I did'nt like the queer agenda coming into the schools so I ran for the board of education as a trustee I missed getting elected by 2000 votes and some of those missed votes claimed they were against this agenda too but they did'nt have any time to hand out flyers, man the phones or help in any way and did'nt even take the time to get off their duff and go vote. I had my children helping to distribute literature and come to public meetings with me while I spoke out against what was wrong. I was greatful to the people who did show up but the ones who had a lot to say privately where affraid to speak out loud in public and close only counts in horseshoes. We need to be in their face, demand answers, demand change. Don't give up, I won't, I will continue to fight the issues alone if necessary.
