Communism and Feminism - The Undeniable Link

The Sharpened Pen

-
It is important for those who oppose communism to understand the methodology of communists - to not only oppose their foolish economic policy, but their equally distructive social policy as well. If we cannot comprehend the means our adversaries have used in their attempt to spread communism across the globe, then how on earth do you expect to ever defeat them? Simply put, you won't.

What follows is a long list of articles, statements, and literary quotes which show that communism is dedicated to undermining what they see as the 3 key obstacles to the ideological invasion of North America: morality, the family unit, and religion.

Some people refuse to acknowledge the clear connection between feminism and communism. Luckily feminists and communists alike, by their actions and statements, provide some of the strongest evidence that the two are one:

"The overthrow of patriarchy requires a complete sexual revolution which would destroy the traditional taboos on homosexuality, bastardy, adolescent and pre- and extra-marital sex--in other words there should be unrestricted sexual activity of all kinds. Monogamous marriage would not survive such freedom, and with it would go the patriarchal family authority, which is the basis of the patriarchal state. To replace the family, professional collective care of the young would have to be developed . . . [which] would be an improvement in child care."( Charvet, John. Feminism. Toronto: J. M. Dent, 1982.)

One active feminist declared,

"The rise of capitalism is the root cause of the modern social and economic discrimination against women which came to a peak in the last century."[45] Eva Figes, Patriarchal Attitudes, my case for women to revolt, (Granada, 1970): 70. See also Shulamith Firestone,The Dialectic of Sex, (Bantam, NY, 1970): 2

Firestone writes:

So that just as to assure elimination of economic classes
requires the revolt of the underclass (the proletariat) and in a
temporary dictatorship, their seizure of the means of
production, so to assure the elimination of sexual classes
requires the revolt of the underclass (women) and the seizure of
control of reproduction: the restoration to women of ownership
of their own bodies, as well as feminine control of human
fertility, including both the new technology and all the social
institutions of childbearing and childrearing. And just as the
end goal of socialist revolution was not only the elimination of
the economic class <privilege> but of the economic class
<distinction> itself, so the end goal of feminist revolution
must be, unlike that of the first feminist movement, not just
the elimination of male <privilege> but of the sex <distinction>
itself: genital differences between human beings would no longer
matter culturally.

Polymorphous perversity would probably supersede hetero-, homo-,
bi- sexuality.

The reproduction of the species by one sex for the benefit of
both would be replaced by at least the option of artificial
reproduction. Children would be born to both sexes equally or
independently.

The dependence of the child on the mother and vice versa would
give way to a greatly shortened dependence on a small group of
others in general and any remaining inferiority to adults in
physical strength would be compensated for culturally.

The tyranny of the biological family would be broken.

The feminist movement has the essential mission of creating
cultural acceptance of the new ecological balance necessary for
the survival of the human race in the twentieth century.

The goal is clear - Man becomes (and here she quotes Engels) The
Lord of Nature, master of his own social organization.

by Shulamith Firestone First Edition, 1st Printing / 1993; c1993], c1970;)

feminism is wonderful? It seeks to address inequalities? Oh really?

"There was no ruling class. The tribal life resembled the life of one large family, in which the elders were respected for their greater wisdom, but matters of policy were decided in tribal council. Men and women shared equally in control of affairs. Women were rather the more respected and powerful of the two sexes. Descent was not traced from father to son, but backward through the female line, where its authenticity could not be questioned. The mother right was the social order, until a little over five thousand years ago. For over two hundred thousand years, woman was the leading half of the human race. As her rule was based upon love, such as a mother bears her child, the social institutions of that period probably brought greater happiness to the human race than the slave institutions later introduced by man."-Our Mental Enslavement, page 14.

The author of "Our Mental Enslavement," in describing prehistoric man, hoped that history would repeat itself, and that the state of the future, under Feminism, would be like that of the past.

This is by no means an aberration, but in fact is quite the norm. Most feminists wholly endorse socialist, if not "communist" ideals and rather than remain quiet about such affiliations,(and its lucky for us that they do not) are quite open about them. this allows us insight into the mutual goals that feminism and communism share; an insight which would be nearly impossible to achieve otherwise.

Feminism, communism and the joint attack on the family

"But these Socialist and Communist publications contain also a critical element. They attack every principle of existing society. Hence they are full of the most valuable materials for the enlightenment of the working class. The practical measures proposed in them, such as the abolition of the distinction between town and country, of the family, of the carrying on of industries for the account of private individuals, and of the wage system, the proclamation of social harmony, the conversion of the functions of the State into a mere superintendence of production, all these proposals point solely to the disappearance of class-antagonisms which were, at that time, only just cropping up, and which, in these publications, are recognized under their earliest, indistinct and undefined forms only."-Communist Manifesto, page 55.

Floyd Dell, Associate Editor of "The Masses," a leading Socialist-Feminist weekly, and author of "Women as World Builders," quotes a leading Feminist as maligning household duties, and places birth on par with the hatching of birds, and justifies the woman in deserting her husband and becoming the companion of another man.(SOCIALISM, FEMINISM, AND SUFFRAGISM,THE TERRIBLE TRIPLETS CONNECTED BY THE SAME UMBILICAL CORD. AND FED FROM THE SAME NURSING BOTTLE By B. V. HUBBARD Chicago: American Publishing Company 1820 City Hall Square Bldg.)

Bebel asserts that more than one form of marriage is moral, and calls Christian marriage serfdom, which he claims Socialism will abolish. (source: Men's Feminism : August Bebel and the German Socialist Movement Publication Date: November 2000. Publisher: Humanity Books)

And today I may add: The first class antagonism appearing in history coincides with the development of the antagonism of man and wife in monogamy, and the first class oppression with that of the female by the male sex. Monogamy was a great historical progress. But by the side of slavery and private property it marks at the same time that epoch which, reaching down to our days, takes with all progress also a step backwards, relatively speaking, and develops the welfare and advancement of one by the woe and submission of the other."-Engels, The Origin of the Family, pages 79-80.

Leading Socialists have demanded the abolition of the family, decrying it as the chief bulwark of capitalism, saying so long as husband and wife formed families with children, they had the motive to accumulate property or "capital," and the ultimate end of Socialism is to abolish private property. Another expression is that so long as a wife is dependent on a husband for support, she is a "sex slave" and cannot leave him at her will and be sexually or economically free. .(SOCIALISM, FEMINISM, AND SUFFRAGISM,THE TERRIBLE TRIPLETS CONNECTED BY THE SAME UMBILICAL CORD. AND FED FROM THE SAME NURSING BOTTLE By B. V. HUBBARD Chicago: American Publishing Company 1820 City Hall Square Bldg.)

"On what foundation is the present family, the bourgeois family based? On capital, on private gain. In its completely developed form this family exists only among the bourgeoisie."-Communists Manifesto, page 36.

"The bourgeois family will vanish as a matter of course when its complement vanishes, and both will vanish with the vanishing of capital."-Communist Manifesto, page 36. Carl Marx and Frederick Engels, "The Fathers of Socialism."

"We are now approaching a social revolution, in which the old economic foundations of monogamy will disappear just as surely as those of its complement, prostitution. Monogamy arose through the concentration of considerable wealth in one hand-a man's hand-and from the endeavor to bequeath this wealth to the children of this man to the exclusion of all others. This necessitated monogamy on the woman's but not on man's part. Hence this monogamy of women in no way hindered open or secret polygamy of men. Now, the impending social revolution will reduce this whole care of inheritance to a minimum by changing at least the overwhelming part of permanent and inheritable wealth-the means of production-into social property. Since monogamy was caused by economic conditions, it will disappear when these causes are abolished."-The Origin of the Family, page 91, Frederick Engels.

"They have cudgelled their brains in vain to discover a rational limit beyond which the killing of the child in its mother's womb is murder. It is just as impossible to determine absolutely the moment of death, for physiology proves that death is not an instantaneous momentary phenomenon, but a very protracted process."-(Socialism, Utopian and Scientific, page 81. by Frederick Engels ,Paperback - June 1989)

"In the same case is what we may call the stage-setting of the monogamous family, the home. The home ceases to be regarded as the sacred and eternal Palladium of society. It, too, is destined to change, if not to disappear. With the transformation of the means of production into collective property, Engels writes, the private household changes to a social industry. The care and education of children becomes a public matter."-"Socialism, Positive and Negative." page 106.

"The freedom of Woman must ultimately rest on the Communism of society-which alone can give her support during the period of Motherhood, without forcing her into dependence on the arbitrary will of one man. While the present effort of women towards earning their own economic independence is a healthy sign and a necessary feature of the times, it is evident that it alone will not entirely solve the problem, since it is just during the difficult years of motherhood, when support is most needed that the woman is least capable of earning it for herself." ("Love's Coming-of-Age," by Edward Carpenter, 1912.)

The above represents only a small sampling of communist endorsements of feminism and the utilization of feminism as a means of destroying the family unit, early on identified as an impediment to their aims.

the attack on the church

"We make war against all prevailing ideas of religion, of the state, of country, of patriotism. The idea of God is the keystone of a perverted civilization. It must be destroyed. The true root of liberty, of equality, of culture is Atheism."-W. Matt, Secret Societies in Switzerland. .(SOCIALISM, FEMINISM, AND SUFFRAGISM,THE TERRIBLE TRIPLETS CONNECTED BY THE SAME UMBILICAL CORD. AND FED FROM THE SAME NURSING BOTTLE By B. V. HUBBARD Chicago: American Publishing Company 1820 City Hall Square Bldg.)

"And religion will share the fate of the state. It will not be abolished, God will not be dethroned, religion will not be torn out of the people's hearts, nor will any other of the phrases be put into effect, of which the atheistic Social-Democrats are accused. Social-Democracy leaves all such foolish attempts to the bourgeois ideologists who tried to realise them in the French Revolution, and naturally came to grief. Religion will disappear by itself, without any violent attack."-Woman in the Past, Present and Future, page 213. Hardcover - January 1976 by August Bebel)

"Tradition is a great retarding force, is the vis inertiae of history, but being merely passive, is sure to be broken down; and thus religion will be no lasting safeguard to capitalist society. If our juridical philosophical and religious ideas are the more or less remote offshoots of the economic relations prevailing in a given society such ideas cannot, in the long run, withstand the effects of a complete change. And unless we believe in supernatural revelation, we must admit that no religious tenets will ever suffice to prop a tottering society."-Engels Socialism, Utopian and Scientific, page 43.

"The deterioration of the church can be seen on every hand: its power is waning, as witnessed by the expulsion of the black frocked sanctimonious thieves from France, Portugal and, tomorrow, Spain. And when the day comes that the Socialist forces triumph, together with the cankering hulk of capitalism will sink that still older and more retrogressive inveterate sinner, the church."-The Call, 12-24-1910.

"Already the people regard the multitude of mouthing, mumming experts in the hereafter with doubting indifference; soon they will treat them with open scorn. After a generation of ridicule, the whole vast imposture of superstitions and tyranny will topple to its native earth, a reproach upon the past, a mockery to the present, and a warning to the future. Soon, again, the unerring hand of Time will sweep the memory of bishops, popes, and every variety of fakir upon the heap where sorcery and witchcraft already lie in the merciful obliteration of utter decay."-The Bradford Socialist Vanguard, August, 1909.

"The working people are rapidly becoming aware of the fact that the church of today is the same as it has always been-a stumbling block and bar to progress of civilization. It makes no difference what its creed may be, whether it be Roman Catholic, Methodist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, or any other kind of creed. They all stand united as defenders of capitalism."-The Daily People, June 5, 1901.

Creating a New Communist world order by changing societal beliefs and values

"Communism can never be realized till the present system of Society has been destroyed by the workers taking hold of the political power. When that happens, it will mean that Communism is on the point of absorbing and transmuting Civilization all the world over."-(Socialism, Its Growth and Outcome, page 166. by William Morris, E. Belfort Bax)

"Prostitution becomes a necessary social institution, just as much as the police, the standing army, the church, the capitalist, etc., etc. This is no exaggeration but an assertion that can be proved."-Woman in the Past, Present and Future, page 92.

"We shall have deserved well of it (Socialism) if we stir up hatred and contempt against all existing institutions. We make war against all prevailing ideas of the State, of country, of patriotism. The idea of God is the key stone of a perverted civilization. It must be destroyed. The true root of liberty, equality and culture is Atheism."-Karl Marx.

"So that my contention that morality only came into being with the division of society into classes and will pass away when class divisions are abolished, becomes a question of definition."-Socialism, Positive and Negative, pages 75-76.

"The Communists disdain to conceal their views and aims. They openly declare that their ends can be attained only by the forcible overthrow of all existing social conditions. Let the ruling classes tremble at a Communistic revolution. The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win.

"In short, the Communists everywhere support every revolutionary movement against the existing social and political order of things."-Communist Manifesto, page 58.

As destructionists, Socialists stand for abolition of our present educational system, our family life, our religious and social beliefs and our economic forms and customs, and for the replacement of the title school house by teaching therein International Socialism, and make "Patriotism" a by-word. The pictures of Washington, Lincoln, and Wilson shall be torn down from the walls, and those of Karl Marx, Bebel and Debs shall replace them.

The "Stars and Strips" shall be hauled down and trampled under foot. The Red Flag of International Socialism furled on the flag pole. .(SOCIALISM, FEMINISM, AND SUFFRAGISM,THE TERRIBLE TRIPLETS CONNECTED BY THE SAME UMBILICAL CORD. AND FED FROM THE SAME NURSING BOTTLE By B. V. HUBBARD Chicago: American Publishing Company 1820 City Hall Square Bldg.)

Know this well, all of those who purport to be defenders of Democracy and Enemies of Communism:
Democracy is temple whose support rests on not one, but four pillars. Those pillars are:

the family
the church
morality
& capitalism

We cannot, in ignorance, protect only the pillar of capitalism and expect that democracy will not fall when the rest are besieged. We must defend all the pillars of democracy, because its fall depends upon the loss of just one.

Yours in Truth,

communism and feminism

I agree, communism and feminism along with the other ismoms are synonymous. The goals of each make for complete compatibility of purpose. No wonder they get along so well. This might be called a marriage of convenience.

feminism- there is nothing feminine about them

August 17 2001, 9:43 PM

Have you noticed that every government office is staffed by a bunch of butt ugly, bra burning, gender focused, man hating fem-nazis with permanent PMS squatted behind a desk. Ever tried to get any information from them over the phone? They don't know and would'nt tell you if they did. This circus runs at every office and bank and hospital etc. in the country. Feminism, it is all about control using these useful pawns who throw the baby out with the bath water or at the abortion mill.
