After settling in at our cabin (which was arrnged for by Bloom, who should be a tour guide

), we decided to go for a much needed and deserved long walk along side the Naeroyfjord (
http://www.gudvangen.com/side2.htm) , the end of which touches Gudvangen, whci is where Nerdo and I were staying for a couple nights. I think we started our walk around 7pm or so. We walked a loooooooooooong way, and it was quite relaxing.
This is looking back at Gudvangen, at the area where we would catch the ferry to Flam the following day.
Nerdo can't wait for a drink, so enjoys some of the water from melt off.
Looking back toward Gudvangen again, after walking around a point that hides Gudvangen.
We met up with rogue gropu of savage beasts and Nerdo did her best to calm them down.
In the end, she took one for the team.
Further up the road, we ran into another vicious beast. Fortunately, Nerdo was able to negotiate with the vile bunny, and no Holy Hand Grenade was required.
We came up on theis
very remote village. It's amazing that there is a small community back here. It's soooo tiny and off the beaten path.
After all the stress of driving over mountain passes at midnight, rain rain rain, me laughing at my own jokes, hordes of marauding animals...Nerdo finally snapped! It was very disturbing.
On the way back, we came upon these boulders that had crashed down from the cliffs above, onto the path'road. This is the source of Brandi's rock from Norge.
Gudvangen at night from the fjord. It was pretty late. Around midnight I think. Help me on this one Nerdo.
