Just want to announce that SA Apogee (Ascendent x Copper Hill Rysa) is in Red Bluff CA this weekend showing in reining classes. He won his forst class with trainer, Jim Spence. In the next class - for amateur0 owners to ride, he did fine but did not place.(well he was 6thout of 10 so thats not bad) My co-owner, Lisa Spackman, rode him & this was her very first reining class.
This is only Apogee's 2nd show as a reining horse and he is now qualified for both Region 3 and Region 4 Championships.
Today Lisa showed him in the 'Working Western Horse Conformation' class. And he won that one too!
We are real proud of him! Lisa has 2 more classes to go and Jim Spense has one more.
