An opportunity to add to your collection this rare and hard to find Lemania one button, two register British military issure chronograph. I have not seen such a fine example for a very long time.
Manufactured by Lemania they were standard British military issue in the 1940s. The lugs are fixed, not spring bars. The back is stamped with the arrow (crows foot) symbol and the ordnance numbers.

These fine quality watches were made without compromise and employ the renowned Swiss-made 19 Jewels Lemania Manual Wind, Incabloc calibre running and functioning exactly as it should. The movement is in immaculate condition. With a handsome silver dial, luminous hands and markers, black & luminous numbers, 30 minute register at 3:00, sub seconds at 9:00, large 38 1/2mm diameter round case, this has been been completely serviced. The watch is presented on a new Nato Webbing Strap..

I am selling this historical watch for just $900 including delivery. If you are in the UK the price is £580.00

Payment in US$ or UK£ by money order, cash or bank transfer. My preferred method of payment is cash in either Dollars or Pounds, this method of payment is fastest and cheapest for us both. So far I have found the postal system 100% secure for sending cash and watches.

I will also consider payment by the I Trust You escrow system or through e-gold

If this watch in any way fails to meet your expectations then please return it to me. I will be glad to refund your payment less postage.

Please feel free to email me if you require further scans or information.

The watches will be shipped via Registered Post (where possible).

A LITTLE HISTORY
The broad arrow which appears on the dial of these watches, has it's origins in the 16th century. It was used to mark the outside of leather bags containing arrows, to show which way they faced. It was eventually adopted by the government and War Office to denote military property.

This watch bears the following ordinance markings:
