Hi
I am not a specialized watch collector; I rather collect all equipments related to the Vietnam war. A friend of mine who lives in Saigon has spotted a watch for sale, with the following markings: Omega Automatic, Seamaster 300, USN SEAL, 7/1966. I know the vietnamese dealers are really gifted when it comes to engraving fake markings (ie the zippos). Is there any evidence showing that Omega used that kind of markings on the Seamaster 300 series? If it is authentic, I guess it was not mil. issue, but rather a commercial marking to increase sales?
Thanks for any answer you might provode, folks.

(PS: sorry about my lousy english, I'm french!!)
