Redmen Pull Off Trade with Lakers

Peter Vipond and Wayne Colley called the team together at practice tonight to announce that a trade had been made with the Peterborough Lakers.

The Redmen dealt the playing rights to Lindsay Plunkett to the Lakers for Peter Lough, Mike Miron and a 2nd round draft pick in the 2009 Major Series Draft. Both Vipond and Colley are high on Lough who, prior to being dealt to the Lakers was a member of the Redmen.

Plunkett is currently on the Ajax Pickering Rock Senior B roster with 11 goals and seven helpers in seven games. Miron is also on the Rock roster and has also played in seven games with seven assists.
