Shenanigans:

At the end of the first period, Nicci Johnston and Craig Willerton dropped the gloves and started to duke it out. Willerton lost his sweater and Johnston got the best of Willerton. Willerton wound up with a cut near his lip.
Both received 5 mins for fighting and a game misconduct because the fight occurred during a game stoppage.

Notes (The way I saw it):

In the first period, the Merchants outhustled the Nitro but then appeared tired and slower in the second and third period.

Both goaltenders made some key saves to keep the game close.

Winner of the 50/50 was the general manager of the Redmen, Wayne Colley
