Emulator of Rock Man

by Lando

Fisrt of all you need two things to get rockman running on PC.

1. An emulator of a Commodore C16/Plus4 which is a program that runs on windows and works just like the real machines in every way. For now try the emulator YAPE. The lastest release can be found on the news page:

http://www.keepitretro.com/plus4/index.htm

2. A copy of the game Rockman it`s self to run on the emulator. The games are files in the same way as they were used on the real machines only now the emulator will run them. Rockman.prg can be found here:

http://plus4.emucamp.com/r.htm

To get started launch YAPE and from the top menu select "FILE" and click on "LOAD PRG". Select the game file from where ever you saved it when you downloaded it and the emulator will now return back to the basic screen. To get the game started type:

RUN

and thats it.

Have a play with Yape`s other options to setup sound support, joystick controls on PC arrow keys, swap joystick ports and much more.
