Thanks for the tip. I think I will leave the taking apart to my dad and we can try to save it. I will let you know how I get on.
I was just angry yesterday at having to take my dad a pressie that he has wnated for years and he cant play his fav game on.

If it doesnt work and you do have a spare keyboard, I will pay you obviously.
Keep you fingers crossed. In the meantime I can play icicle works and fireant and exorcist to my hearts content.
