Hi

I am 38, ttc for 5 years( 2 years via Meds) with poor response. I am interested in your protocol but was wondering why you were receiving dexamethasone . Is it for an immune problem???

Thanks

Hi,

Actually, I initially asked about Dex (and got agreement to use it) because of its effect on response in poor responders: http://humrep.oxfordjournals.org/cgi/content/full/16/9/1861

But after we'd already started stims (and Dex), a conversation started on this board about Medrol (another steroid). I didn't really have diagnosed immune issues, just low positive ACAs. When I asked my RE about Medrol, he said well, why not just continue your Dex through the whole cycle - it's roughly the same stuff, won't hurt you and might help. So we did.

Hope this helps; good luck!
