I've recently noticed that Oreo has really slowed down. She no longer rushes like a mad person to the side of the cage when it's treat time (of course, she still comes! Just not as fast). I was shocked when I took her out of the cage and she just sat in my arms and cuddled up to me. lol, That sounds like it should be a good thing, but I've had to chase Oreo one too many times around my room to know that this is definately not like her.
I've been keeping a close eye on her and she still eats like a pig and drinks. Yet, she has been losing weight.
I've had her for about seven months and she was full grown when I bought her. Could it be that she is older than I originally thought? Is this normal for an older rat?
