Response to Wheezing?

Well, I'm not an expert but when my rat started wheezing it was because she had a respitory infection. When I brought her to the vet, they told me she was acting as if she had been beat up (although there were no outer signs) causing stress. I then went home to find one of the other females beating up another...I had not seen this before. So, if you notice this (which can cause stress on your rattie) in one of your other rats, try separating the bully from the other two for a while to see if there is any improvement. For now I'd suggest seeing a veterinarian in case the wheezing is related to something serious.
