Is it a 75 or 95 HP version?
What were the suffixes for F3N with multipoint injection, and power out >=95 HP?
What were the differences in various F3P engines found in Renault 19?

thanx in advance,

Artur

F3N-740 is 75 bhp with a monopoint injection.

F3N-742 is 95 bhp with multipoint injection.

Those were both 1721cc and used in Phase I R19s (1989-92).

F3P-704/705 (manual/auto) is 1794cc, monopoint and 95 bhp (1992-94)

F3PM682 was 1794cc, multipoint and 110 bhp (1994-95)

F3PA682 was 1783cc, multipoint and 110 bhp (1996)

F3P5765 was 1794cc with 92 bhp, coupled to automatic 'boxes (1995). My source doesn't specify mono- or multipoint, but from the output I'd guess it was monopoint.

All the above is based on Volvo-Auto's (Finnish Renault importer) archives and may not be applicable to other countries as such.

Unfortunately there are lots of phase2 19s MY1993-94 with F3N-740 engines.. Almost no interesting late R19 1,8i with F3P and multipoint injection
Is a round air filter a kind of distinguishing mark for monopoint FI system used in the engine? Are there MPIs with round air filters, too?
