just a query, ive got 3 r11's 2 r11 txe 1.7 and a gtl, 1 txe in concours condition 1 txe laid up and the gtl for parts.
the f series engine was fitted to the txe, and was also fitted to the volvo 440/60/80 models in 1.7 and 2.0 guises as well as a 1.7 turbo
has anyone retro fitted one of these units (with development work done by porche) to the 11, are the gear boxes to the same design and are the electronics going to be a complete nightmare if the dutch and french .
the scrap yards are full of these volvos and the lazy big capacity 2.0 sounds appealing to fit to the txe, with a few turbo suspension mods
