I am looking for a led to locating my Gradfather's ancestry. Any help will be deeply apprecited. Here's what I have so far:

- His name was Frederick Harrison
- He was a native of Canada
- He was born in the late 1800's
- He served with the Canadian army in France during the World War I
- He met my grandmother at a family gathering either in Vancouver, BC or Seattle, WA
- Grandma and Grandpa were 1st cousins
- Grandma, Hazel Hampton, was born in St. Joseph, MO but, due to a life threatening illness which afflicted her as a child, her parents were advised to move to the healthier climate of the Pacific Northwest to avoid a a recurrence of the illness which doctors felt would surely be fatal (they must have been right...Grandma lived to the age of 95)
- Following their wedding, Gandma and Grandpa mae their home initially in Vancouver, BC where my mother, Dolores and her older sister, Uldene were both born
- They later moved to Portland, OR and still later to San Francisco, CO
- Most of Grandpa's family seem to have been involved in the logging and lumber industry
- At one timeGrandpa was a bookkeeper for a logging company
- One of his brothers was named Charley. Charley and his son worked for the Pacific Lumber Company in Scotia, CA
- They lived in Portland when Mom was a small girl but moved to San Francisco about the time Mom would have entered Junior High
- They moved to where Grandpa could find work

That's about all I have at the moment. If anyone can suggest sources of information that mght put me on the trail of his ancestors I would really appreciate your help.

Of course, it would be for me a great privilege to return the favor as well.

Post a message here or e-mail me and I will get back to you ASAP!
