I didn't say your hdtv isn't pc or mac compatable_it is... I said IF the default monitor resolution setting that is being put out by the pc is greater than the hdtv can handle, and they most likely will be, then your hdtv will not be able to handle it and you'll not get any display from your pc or mac on your tv until you lower the resolution setting being sent to the tv.
