I believe the new box has an usb port. Exactly what msntv supports is sometimes hard to pin down because support for specific products can come and go with each so-called update. I believe the new box has an usb port that should support a card reader and maybe some other devices that use an usb. What worked yesterday and what will work tomorrow is sometimes two different things. This has been an issue with msntv since the beginning.
