I had a similar problem and called MSNTV Tech Support. The person I talked to was very knowledgable and gave me a 'work around' to the problem.

Try MSNTV Tech Support before listening to "Rick" - I do not know what his problem is but hhe should get rid of his MSNTV system and GO AWAY !!!
