Hi Dori, Met you at Lakefront(I was showing a couple of booths from you) this year and purchased your wonderful book. Was on a private cruise and had a great chance to read it - just great! I normally do not write such as this but had to because my late wife Micki and I had somewhat similar experiences. In 1969, we sold everything we owned, quit my career with the auto companies and purchased a pop-top VW camper. For the next six months, we traveled all over the country and into Canada covering a distance of 25,000 miles. Most incredible time of our lives! Although we weren't as financially strapped as you and Joe, many similarities were there. Your book brought back many fond memories and Micki would have loved reading it.

Can't tell you how impressed I was with the book and the manner it which it was written. On behalf of this wonderful world of artists, thank you for taking the time putting your lives in print and helping people to understand the life of artists.

One last comment: for the first three or four days in the camper, Micki and I were hardly speaking to each other as everytime we turned in that cramped space, we were in each others face - I'm sure you can relate.

Thanks again. Tom Hale
