I just got through reading Tanya Anne Crosby's Lion Heart and it was great! I loved the Mackinnon's Bride, Lyon's Gift, and On Bended Knee and waited patiently for Broc's story. Now, for a story on Constance! I have got all her books on my keeper shelf but this series is the best!
I haven't read any Lynn Kurkland books yet although I have Another Chance To Dream and The More I see You on my to be read shelf. I believe This Is All I Ask and If I Had You go with those too.
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I have Lyon's Gift by Crosby, and hope to get to it soon. I went through a phase where I bought almost every medieval romances published and kept them all crowded on a shelf. Well, now they are all in boxes unfortunately, all waiting to be read!
I have to say my all-time favorites would be Elizabeth Lowell's medieval trilogy (Untamed, Forbidden, another one I forget), Kathleen Woodiwiss, Roberta Gellis. (The last two authors are fairly intricate and historical authors... sort of like Shannon Drake's earlier works). Ms. Gellis is a lovely person - I was able to obtain autographed copies of her books. Elizabeth Stuart is another author I especially like. I think it is the close dialogue between the hero and heroine that I am extremely fond of, and all the authors above make it very believable.
And don't forget for the real 4-hanky reads, try Kingdom of Dreams (oh I'm sorry the author escapes me here). It is not historically intricate, if you prefer more romance and dialogue. I loved it. If I remember her name, I'll post it.
Till the next time, and thanks for visiting MR, Leah!
Happy Reading!
