Limes - an ancient latin word !

Response to The name Limes

"Limes" (pronounced just as Steven always does...) as an ancient l a t i n word -
means also the historical roman border-walls against the enemies of the roman empire.
(for example the giant roman border wall against the celtic people in Scottland, GB)

In mathematical terms it means the treshold which goes to infinity. ( or so...)

Further, i wondered why the exactly same laurel-wreath like the Fred Perry logo (a worldwide known english textile brand est. 1953, famously worn by the neofascist skinheads) appeared on a Limes watch....?
It is here in Europe much concerned with neonazism and blood & honour and so on.....
But i like it, itīs beautiful because itīs discursive for me as former punk.....
I hope you keep it !

best regards,
Markus Laiber
