I am about to buy my first mechanical watch. I called Mr Walker today with some questions. Not only did he answer all my questions, some which he must have thought quite silly, he even told me things I didn't know about mechanical watches which made me want one even more.
I asked him about a few other brands I am considering, expecting to hear him say that they wern't any good. This is what a watch salesman did when I asked about a brand he didn't have. Mr. Walker described the differences between Limes and the other brands without prejudice and was completely honest.
I know I took up too much of his time, but he seemed to genuinely enjoy talking about watches.
He scored a lot of points for Limes today. Now I just have to get past the name Limes.
