I have a Principio (Flieger I believe it is) and I've sent it back to VCW for an exchange. They have the new dial except this time it's in a matte finish.
opinions on matte vs gloss finish? My initial thoughts are the numbers on a matte finish look nicer and cleaner... however the black glossy backrounds looks nicer than the matte. I'm basing that last statement on a view of a pic I saw of a Principio on this forum that had a matte finish.

The dial almost looked a bit dull. I really like the sharp black as opposed to a rusty black.
Also is the concern if they even produce the glossy dial anymore. Steve, thoughts? I believe VCW has tried to contact you regarding this.
