Response to adjusting for accuracy

Although -2 seconds in quite accurate, I can understand that you would like more. Adjusting a mechanical watch, however, can be an experiment in 'trial and error'. A watch which is adjusted to +1 to 2 seconds a day, in a static position, which is what we do in our service center, may end up running from -3 to +8 seconds on the wrist in 'real life'. Sometimes a watch might need to be readjusted 2 or 3 times to get long term consistant COSC spec accuracy.

I suggest you consider finding a local watchmaker who can adjust it, and then be able to re-adjust once or twice if need be.

Best regards,

Steven
