Hi Steve,
I took you advise and took my watch to Mr. Haig on Sunset back in Early June. He regulated my watch and afterward, it is still going about ~ 25 to 30 second slow each day. I then took the watch to a local watch repair shop specialized in European watches
Hans Eckert Eruopean Watch Service in Orange, Calif.
The purpose was to get it regulated. Mr. Hans kept the watch for 4 days (unlike Mr. Haig only had it for 1 hours). After examining my Limes Outback, this is exactly what he said about my watch ....
"Not a high precision watch at all & not a chronometer watch. Watch has a huge position error + balance "wobbles" too much inshake, perhaps problem with the shock unit. You should return to "Limes" and raise "hell".
Steven, I really like this watch. Can you get a 'authorized' Limes person to make sure this watch is ok ?
Thanks,
