Some time ago - before I plopped down the money for a limited edition Limes watch, I emailed Limes to suggest that they produce a watch with similar styling but in a non-limited version making it more available to everyone (which, excuse me, used to be one of the guiding principles of Limes)!

I got a very nice & polite response from the owner of the company saying thanks, but no thanks, they would not be doing that.

I then went ahead and sent my money, got my watch, and lo and behold not three months later there it was for all and sundry, and at a more affordable price.

I truly love my limited edition - but understand, I will NEVER buy another Limes watch - I am far from impressed by the attitude of the ownership and the cavalier attitude to basically "gild the lilly" of potential owners. I love the watch, but why do the prices continue to climb at such an alarming rate? Why do the owners dismiss an idea out of hand, and then turn around an produce it?! A company producing consumer goods will only be as good as the overall feeling it leaves with the consumer - and this consumer WILL NOT recommend Limes to anyone else.

Very satisfied with my watch, but very unimpressed with the obvious low-regard that the owners of Limes hold their customers.
